Macam Hotel

Opened in March 2025, Macam Hotel introduces a groundbreaking concept that fuses a five-star hotel experience with an immersive art museum. Housed in the 18th-century Palácio Condes da Ribeira Grande, it houses over 600 art pieces from the late 19th century to today. With 64 uniquely designed rooms, MACAM offers you the rare opportunity to sleep surrounded by art, as curated pieces from the Armando Martins Collection adorn the corridors, guest rooms and public spaces. Original features like the monumental staircase and library have been restored, while the new wing, designed by MetroUrbe, infuses the space with contemporary design. A striking element is the façade, enhanced with award-winning three-dimensional ceramic panels by Maria Ana Vasco Costa. You’ll also find the Contemporary Food & Wine Restaurant on-site as well as Macam Café and the chapel turned bar, Live Arts & Bar, will host performing arts, performances and concerts with a bar service.

The Verse

On Lisbon’s Rua de São Bento, where antique shops and design studios jostle for space, The Verse has redefined the art of the aparthotel. Set in a restored building by architect João Luís Carrilho da Graça, with interiors by Studio Astolfi, the 15 apartments mix warm oak, limestone and microcement with sculptural furniture and custom lighting. From compact studios to two-bedroom suites with terraces, each space feels as considered as a private residence. Downstairs, a lobby-meets-cocktail bar draws locals in for a drink, while a discreet concierge service arranges private dinners, market visits and museum tours.
