Son Bunyola Hotel

What’s the hotel in a nutshell?

Standing proudly amidst the Tramuntana Mountains, the Son Bunyola Hotel, an eloquent testament to Mallorcan history, offers a luxurious retreat under the aegis of Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition. Having seen over 20 years in the making, this 16th-century finca is revived as a grand jewel set in an astonishing 1300-acre estate laden with almond and olive groves, vines and citrus fruit trees. The hotel, with its own pristine coastline stretching over three miles, aims to rekindle the magic that Branson’s original boutique hotel evoked on this charming Mediterranean island.

What are the rooms like?

Inside this architectural marvel, conceived by local architect Gras, an array of 26 rooms and suites await each splendidly styled by the renowned local interior designer Rialto Living. Imbued with a distinct Mallorcan charm, each space holds the promise of a ’home away from home’ experience. Among these, two unique Tower Suites command awe-inspiring mountain and sea vistas. Housed in the Tafona, where the finca’s historic olive press was once located, two additional suites offer enticing terraces. The spotlight, however, goes to the suite housed in a medieval defence tower from the 13th century, brimming with allure and whispers of history.
