Villa Noailles

High on a hill in Hyères, Villa Noailles is a symbol of modernist architecture and a vibrant centre for contemporary art and design. Designed by Robert Mallet-Stevens for patrons Charles and Marie-Laure de Noailles, the villa epitomises early 20th-century avant-garde style, featuring functional terraces, light-filled spaces and minimalistic decor. The villa’s cubist garden and striking interiors, including works by Giacometti, Brancusi and Mondrian, offer a unique aesthetic experience. Villa Noailles hosts annual events like the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories, alongside a rich program of exhibitions and workshops, all centering around the arts.

Villa Carmignac

Villa Carmignac, situated on the idyllic Île de Porquerolles, is a stunning fusion of contemporary art and nature. This former Provençal farmhouse has been transformed into a 2,000 square metre exhibition space, where natural light filters through a unique ceiling of water. The villa showcases a remarkable collection, featuring works by Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Chateau la Coste

Château La Coste, located near the beautiful town of Aix-en-Provence, is a unique estate where wine, art and architecture coexist in perfect harmony. Spanning 200 hectares, the estate offers a rich blend of history and contemporary culture. As a visitor, you can explore its renowned art and architecture walk, featuring works by luminaries such as Tadao Ando, Richard Serra and Louise Bourgeois. Chapelle du Rosaire de Vence

The Chapelle du Rosaire de Vence, or Matisse Chapel, exemplifies Henri Matisse’s artistic and spiritual legacy. Situated in Vence, this chapel was created between 1947 and 1951 for Sister Jacques-Marie, formerly Matisse’s nurse. Adorned with Matisse’s stained glass windows, ceramic murals and liturgical vestments, the chapel is a masterclass in colour and light. Key highlights include the Stations of the Cross and the Madonna and Child. In 2021, the Prada Foundation restored the chapel, preserving its artistic and spiritual significance. The serene space inspires contemplation and admiration for Matisse’s integration of art and faith​.
