Olea All Suite Hotel
Olea All Suite Hotel was Zakynthos’s first member of Design Hotels and that pedigree shows in every detail. Set in an ancient olive grove above Tsilivi, its 93 suites (spread across 11 room categories) feature tropical-modernist structures with sand-toned walls and earth-inspired fabrics – some even have plunge pools or swim-up terraces. The main attraction of the resort is a 4,000-square-metre lake-style pool, where floating loungers and daybeds are set up under olive trees. Dining at Olea All Suite Hotel is a highlight. You can choose between the casual beach-club vibes at Cocoon, serving Greek tapas and local wines or try Pacifico by Nikkei, a Peruvian-Japanese fusion restaurant with excellent sushi and ceviche.

Lesante Cape
Lesante Cape sits in Akrotiri village, where Venetian-era manors once stood. The resort spans a gently sloping hillside down to a private stony beach, with 51 rooms and six villas scattered between olive and cypress trees. Designed by Dedalo Progetti in cooperation with the Volineos group, the resort is built to emulate a traditional Greek village. It features a central square, a café, a taverna, small shops, a folklore museum and even its own church. The architecture honours traditional Zakynthian elements with tall arches, large white stones and earthy tones, complemented by wooden furniture and straw-made décor. If you’re a foodie, this is the hotel for you. You will find six on-site restaurants. The Fiore restaurant offers a fine dining experience that highlights island produce, while the Greek Taverna is a seafood-centric taverna on the beach. You’ll also find a rooftop lounge for sunset cocktails and a wine bar showcasing 150 regional labels.

Just steps from Tsilivi beach, Contessina Suites & Spa is an adults-only retreat of 42 suites designed around neutral tones and natural materials. The hotel’s sophisticated design, envisioned by architect Christina Voutou, cleverly creates a protected environment within a bustling coastal area.
