In Madrid’s Barrio de las Letras, Armesto rewrites the rules of the boutique stay with a dose of theatrical flair. Conceived by Febrero Studio, the interiors channel mid-century travel nostalgia through bold palettes, dramatic curtains and a cinematic play of light and shadow. Rooms switch between moody intensity and airy calm, always with tactile details—handcrafted tiles, textured fabrics—that invite touch as much as they delight the eye. This is not the polished minimalism of your standard design hotel but something rawer, more expressive, almost mischievous. Armesto feels like Madrid distilled: layered, passionate and impossible to pin down.
