Dear Breakfast

Dear Breakfast in Lisbon, particularly the Bica location – our personal favourite – is delightful. Founded by French architect Patrice Reboul, the restaurant’s design is decidedly minimalist with soft pastel tones and abundant natural light. Chef Olivier, known for his innovative approach to brunch classics, leads the kitchen. We can’t resist the fluffy Dear Pancakes, topped with fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup. Another favourite is the avocado toast, served on artisanal bread with poached eggs and a sprinkle of chilli flakes.

Seagull Method

Seagull Method Cafe in Lisbon’s Príncipe Real district is a cherished brunch destination. The interior is modern and chic, featuring beautiful pothos adorning the walls and open spaces for visitor graffiti. Yes, very hipster, but very cosy!. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the breakfast burger, corn fritters and the Garden bowl. The coffee is excellent and so is the notable Breakfast Burger, combining a juicy patty with fresh greens and a perfectly cooked egg. Another favourite is the Corn Fritters, served with a side of avocado and tangy tomato relish.

La Boulangerie

La Boulangerie, located near Lisbon’s Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, offers a French-inspired culinary experience. The café’s contemporary décor blends old and modern elements, creating a natural and rustic ambiance. For breakfast, patrons can enjoy freshly baked croissants, including the croissant misto – a buttery croissant filled with ham and cheese, topped with a fried egg.
